Flatbacks are just a metal back and has no magnet on it and is not magnetic.
Size and Style options are:
1" pinbacks, flatbacks or zipper pulls (Very small nearly the size of a quarter)
1.25" pinbacks, flatbacks , or magnet back
1.5" pinbacks, flatbacks, magnet back or keychains
1.75" pinbacks, flatbacks, magnet back
2.25" pinbacks, flatbacks, magnet back or mirror backs
Item is sent in sealed packaging and is shipped USPS First Class Package mail, in a bubble lined envelope.

It is SO hard to find things that will WOW my uncles for the holidays, and you have nailed it with these great magnets! I can not wait to see his face on Christmas morning!
